LUKE’S ARCADE / FREE BROWSER GAME
Apex Flow Billiards
A pool game you play with one thumb. Drag around the cue ball to turn the aim, or just tap the ball you want to pot: the glowing line snaps onto a pot when you are close. Pull the power bar down and let go. A 30-table career in six worlds gives every table a goal and up to three stars for finishing in few shots, then adds bumper posts that kick the balls, ice and mud that change the friction, and portals that teleport them. Earn a magnet that widens the pockets for one shot and an undo. After the career, endless Rack Attack keeps adding balls and shrinking the pockets. Free, no download, no account.
How to play
- Drag a finger around the cue ball to turn the aim, or tap a ball to aim straight at it. When the line is close to a pot it snaps on and the pocket lights up green.
- Pull the power bar on the right down to set the power (a green tick shows the suggested power) and let go to shoot. Let go at the top to cancel.
- On a computer the cue follows the mouse: hold the button to charge the power and let go to shoot. A and D fine-tune the aim, Shift for finer, Space charges and fires, M arms the magnet, U undoes the last shot, R restarts.
- A dotted line shows the cue ball's path, the ghost ball where it will touch, and the direction the ball you hit will travel.
- Any ball can be potted. Potting on back-to-back shots builds a run that multiplies your score; bank shots and long pots score extra.
- Clear the table for a bonus and a fresh rack. Scratching the cue ball costs time.
Modes
- Rush (the default): a countdown clock starts with your first shot. Every ball you pot adds time, clearing the table adds a lot, later worlds drain the clock faster, and a run of pots slows it (Frenzy). In the last ten seconds a big countdown appears and the screen turns red.
- Career: 30 tables (the parlour, bank street, bumper bar, ice rink, portal park, the hustle) with three stars each and a boss every fifth table.
- Rack Attack: endless rounds, three hearts, more balls and smaller pockets every round.
- Zen: no timer, just the table.
- Daily: everyone gets the same rack, played against the clock, with a streak for playing each day.
